So much to blog, so little time...

This past Saturday we went to Rexburg to watch Bryson run in his first half-marathon (13 miles). Nate ran one a couple of months ago and convinced Bryson to give it a shot too. So Bryson has been training like crazy. A week before the race he came home after a huge run and said that his ankle was killing him. He thought he might have fractured it, so he went to the doctor on Monday and found out that it was Posterior Tibial Tendonitis. Thanks to our amazing friend Derrick, Bryson underwent some heavy physical therapy for a few days and decided to run. He did AWESOME! as everyone I'm sure would expect. He finished in 1 hour 35 minutes. He said it was the hardest thing he's ever done. He placed 4th in his age category and 18th overall. As proud as we were of him, Bryson was really disappointed that he didn't place in the top 3, and has already looked up as many races around here as he can to redeem himself.

Thanks Meg and Kirk for letting us come stay with you guys, it was tons of fun!

We had a lot of fun going to the finish line. I had never been to one of these before, but I thought it was so fun. The boys made signs to hold up for their Dad and Nate. Beck was a champ, of course, and didn't make a peep. He loves to be outside so he was in heaven.

Crazy days! Who would have ever thought that one 6-year-old could make our lives so busy?! Brevin has Tball games Monday and Wednesday mornings, football practice (yes, I did say football) Tuesday nights and football games Thursday nights. It keeps us busy, but we love every second of it! Bryson coaches the football team and I help out with Tball and lucky for us we've got two little troopers that, as of yet, haven't complained a bit.
Brevin had an awesome game this week. He loves to play charger-where all of the action is.

The first football game was SO great! I loved it! Before the game Bryson had told Brevin that when he got the ball he needed to juke left, juke right, and go for the touchdown, and that's exactly what happened. Our team's first possession of the ball Brevin got to be the running back. He juked left, juked right, and ran his skinny legs right into the end zone! Everyone cheered and Brevin had the hugest toothless grin the whole time. I was so happy that Grandma Mary Ann and Sissy were here to see it.

I love our (not so) little Baby Beck so stinking much. He gets more kisses than he ever bargained for. Those big old cheeks just beg to be smooched. I've always teased that Lindsey was just part of my mom's purse when we were growing up. She just got hauled around to everything, and now I'm the one doing the hauling. With two big brothers totally addicted to sports we'll be doing this for a long time. It's just a good thing that he's such a wonderful baby.
