Meet Tango & Taffy

So I did something I never thought I would do...I let my children have pets. Grandma Mary Ann had some baby kittens, and the boys absolutely loved them. They begged to bring them home every single time we went to Malad. I kept telling them no, but once we starting having voles http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vole in our yard and heard that cats scare them away-I agreed. So once we got Tango and Taffy settled into the garage (no they will absolutely NEVER be in my house) they were pretty scared and always hiding. They had only been here a couple of days when we had a bit of an accident. Bryson started mowing the lawn and had only made two trips across the lawn when the bag fell off. Much to his surprise when he picked up the bag he saw two little fur balls covered in lawn clippings and blood. An hour and $140 later Taffy came home with some very stylish nose rings.Since this little mishap Tango and Taffy have become the most patient kittens in history. The boys hold them like babies and they give them "hugs" before we go anywhere. It is hilarious!

Finally - I knew!!!!! that you would one day give in and let the boys have a pet. Good for you - you unselfish mama. We gave Marshal's mom 2 baby kittens they have had for a long time. They get so friendly and want to be part of everything and well one day when they were backing out of the garage -- thats right -- one lived and is doing okay so tell Bryson to make sure they aren't under the car!

Tango and Taffy - great names - think they would work for a real baby!! Still struggling with the whole name thing --love ya
